What We're About

Yoga is not about the poses, but poses are often the most common way to explore awareness, presence and mindful breathing.  ​Wondering how to access poses more successfully, without pain or to greater depth? This podcast explores those questions, challenging old school cues, mining exercise science insights and teasing apart theories of how and why humans need to move. ​Yoga Poser is a cerebral romp into the practical, mystical and anatomical aspects of famous and infamous yoga poses. Learn the best cues, why so-called basic poses can be so hard, and how each pose shapes the breath in revelatory ways.  Jane Alexander and Sarah Westbrook are IAYT certified Yoga Therapists with a combined 70 years experience practicing and teaching yoga. Jane has particular expertise with the core and pelvic floor; Sarah specializes in scoliosis, hypermobility and joint pain.​​
